On The Road

MIDLIFE is not a crisis or a life stage to avoid. The clinical definition is the age range between 35 and 65. However, career, family, and other priorities that take away from your free time can force you into this stage of living prematurely. The good news is that, unlike competitive athletes who peak in their mid 30s, recreational athletes can continue to improve their conditioning into their 70s.

Midlife Cycling provides training advice and products to people nationwide that help them build a healthy lifestyle through cycling. The program is designed for cyclists of all abilities who have limited time for working on their physical conditioning. The training philosophy is to maximize your health and fitness benefits during recreational activities rather than following highly-structured schedules typical of competitive training.

The Midlife Cycling training program is also appropriate for people with weight issues, people with Type II diabetes, people recovering from knee or hip injuries, or people with other health issues trying to improve their fitness. Cycling can challenge the most fit athlete while, at the same time, it is the perfect low-intensity, low-impact activity for those just starting out.
