Assessments...

"if you want to get to where you are going then
you should know where you are starting from."

If you do nothing else with your training, any one of these assessments may be the best investment you ever make in yourself. You can do assessments once or multiple times a year depending upon how close you want to track your progress.

Ride Assessment - This is an on-the-road assessment of your riding under actual conditions. All aspects of your riding are evaluated including warm-up, long climbs, short climbs, descents, sprints, tempo riding, heart rate zone management, pedaling, shifting, and more. We also discuss on-bike and recovery nutrition. Takes about 1 1/2 hours.

CompuTrainer Assessment - The CompuTrainer is a sophisticated bicycle ergometer that can quantify various cycling parameters. Using your actual bicycle we evaluate bike fit, total power, power distribution between legs, power generation throughout the pedal rotation, heart rate vs. power output, and much more. We prefer to use the trainer for assessment if someone has a history of knee or hip injury, existing knee pain, or is recovering from surgery because we can control the pedaling resistance very accurately.
